The time has come again when our club has to honour the exemplary performance of our members for the year. Our Club championship (2 rounds) starts on 09 of December and the final round is on December 16 (our X’mas party). Our Top Dogs and Top Birds for the year will also compete for the Yearly titles on December 16.
Club Champion (2 day event ):
Lowest gross aggregate score for 2 rounds;
If score is tied, lower handicap is declared winner;
Division A/B Champions (2 day event):
Determine the category(A or B) of each player on the first round;
Lowest nett aggregate for the 2 rounds;
If score is tied, lower handicap is declared winner;
Top Dog/Bird (1 day event ):
Players are to compete on the title won except for those who won both Dog and Bird.
Where the player has o nominate his preference;
Determine the lowest nett score on the day;
Normal countback applies to break tie (on handicap);
If score is still tied, lower handicap is declared winner;
Club Champion, Div A or B can only have one title, promotion to next in line (2 days event);Top Dog/Bird can also be won by club champions above (1 day event for monthly winners) if the champions are also monthly top dog/bird winner.
Note: there is no count back on the above titles
Golfer of the year has the Perpetual trophy that goes with it.
